The Subsidy

Under 27 subsidy for 2012

Although it has been decided by the Committee that the cost should be somewhat higher as inflation has increased by 42% since the old rates were set, the subsidy still offers you cheap golf, and I very much hope that you and your friends will take advantage of this.

The conditions are simple:

  • You have to be under the age of 27 on January 1st 2012.

  • You pay a maximum of £30 per day for costs at the club i.e. green fee and lunch, with the balance paid by the Society.

  • For the Saturday night of the meeting at Sherborne, and the Friday night of the meeting at Rye, you pay a maximum of £25 per night for bed and breakfast.

  • For representative tournaments (Halford Hewitt, Brent Knoll and Grafton Morrish) you pay a maximum of £25 per day for the cost of dinner, bed and breakfast.
